โจDetransitioner Abel Garcia discusses he was conditioned to believe he was a woman and all his problems would be resolved by becoming a woman. The health care system in California did not concern themselves with underlying mental health conditions. Instead immediately he was scheduled for top surgery and received letters for bottom surgery.
