A 15-year-old boy lost his life after being shot by a juvenile in Charlotte, North Carolina.

"Roman Kichigin was less than a month shy of his 16th birthday when he was killed," reports say.

In spite of his young age, Kichigin had a talent for repairing BMWs and selling them for a profit. The teen was looking forward to obtaining a drivers license so he could drive one of his BMWs.

The teen was apparently killed while responding to an advertisement to purchase a cell phone. It appears the sale was a set up for a robbery and, rather than buying a phone, the teen was shot dead.

Clifton Trimaine Stanfill, 18, is charged with the murder, reported wbtv.com.

Kichigin and his family moved to Charlotte from Semey, Kazakhstan in 2014 when he was 12-years-old.
