Mayor Wheeler tries to imply that Portland is a great city and that the violence is not a local problem but a result of people coming from outside of Portland. He stated that Joey Gibson only schedules Patriot Prayer rallies in Portland to get a violent reaction and that he never rallies in Vancouver or Washington state.
Joey Gibson has organized 51 different events since the last time he organized a Patriot Prayer rally in Portland. All of them were peaceful and most were located in S.W. Washington where he lives. The question is why can Patriot Prayer rally so many times just outside of Portland with no violence?
The problem is Portland and the Mayor.
