Israel has sent troops and tanks back into the northern Gaza Strip. The Israeli Army has continued to attack the Jabalia refugee camp and intensified attacks on the entire Gaza Strip. Clashes with the Palestinian resistance in Jabalia pushed back the invading forces following a night of intense air raids in the area. The renewed attack, in parallel with the assault on Rafah, comes while Gaza is under a full blockade since Israel took control of the Rafah crossing.
Nearly 360,000 people have fled Rafah since the first evacuation order a week ago. At least 35,034 people have been killed and 78,755 wounded in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7.
