Social media giants Facebook and Twitter have collectively seen $51.2 billion in combined market value wiped out over the last two trading sessions. That was since they banned President Donald Trump from their platforms following the U.S. Capitol breach.

Large tech firms and a number of Democratic political figures have claimed Trump incited violence at the U.S. Capitol last week. The incident disrupted debates in both the House and Senate as lawmakers were forced to shelter in place while police and security attempted to seize back control.

Trump took to Twitter following the outbreak of violence to call on protesters to “go home in peace.” He denounced the violence as a “heinous attack” that “defiled the seat of American democracy”. It’s still unclear who instigated the breach of the building. We’ll explore this and more in today’s episode.

13 Ways China Targeted the 2020 Election | Declassified with Gina Shakespeare

At 1 p.m. local time on Jan. 6, members of Congress will gather in the chamber of the House of Representatives to observe the formal certification of Electoral College votes for president of the United States.

While it’s usually a formality, nothing has been usual so far about this year’s election amid numerous allegations of voter fraud in key swing states.

The situation is complicated by a lack of clarity on the legal and constitutional guardrails for the process. The joint session of Congress may well result in gridlock, in which a clear winner of the race isn’t announced at all.

Based on current election results, former Vice President Joe Biden has received 306 electoral votes to Trump’s 232 votes. Meanwhile, Republicans in seven states where Biden claimed victory have sent their own sets of electoral votes to Washington, and some members of the House have indicated that they will object to Biden electors in some states.

Any objection would require support from one House member and one senator to be considered, and at least one senator has left open the possibility he would join the effort.

So what will happen?

What Is Pence’s Game Plan for January 6th? | Declassified with Gina Shakespeare

Communist organizations in the United States organize groups that systematically target potential voters who rarely vote such as minorities, low-income workers, young people to encourage them to vote for Democrats. These groups register them for voting and provide transportation to polling stations, said Trevor Loudon, author, and filmmaker.

While it is legal to provide voter registration services, some voter registration groups work with foreign actors such as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Loudon said in an interview on The Epoch Times’ investigative documentary.

There are communist organizations in America that owe allegiance to the Chinese Communist Party, one of them is Liberation Road and its subgroup called Left Roots, the Communist Party USA, and others, Loudon said.

These groups have been involved for several years in “setting up voter registration groups in key states. States that could be flipped from Republican to Democrat,” Loudon said.

Pro-China Communist Groups Claim Credit for Biden Victory | Declassified | Gina Shakespeare

Attorney General Bill Barr announced his resignation on Dec. 14 in a letter sent to President Donald Trump. Barr’s exit, which will become effective on the 23rd, leaves a number of questions unanswered.

In his letter, Barr noted that he had updated the president on the Justice Department’s (DOJ’s) ongoing review of voter fraud allegations, stating that “these allegations will continue to be pursued,” while noting that “it is incumbent on all levels of government, and all agencies acting within their purview, to do all we can to ensure the integrity of elections and promote public confidence in their outcome.”

Barr also noted in his letter that the president has been subjected to “relentless, implacable resistance” whose purpose was to “cripple, if not oust, [his] Administration with frenzied and baseless accusations of collusion with Russia.”

The letter was issued on the same day that our nation officially entered a contested election, with dueling electors submitting their votes in seven key states.

Barr’s most significant achievement during his tenure was perhaps his role in the final stages of the Mueller investigation, leading to his joint conclusion with Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein that evidence compiled by Robert Mueller failed to establish that the president had obstructed justice. But a series of curious missteps then followed.

The post-election push to pressure President Donald Trump to concede, despite numerous credible allegations of voter fraud and ongoing legal challenges, is not an isolated incident.

It is the culmination of a four-year-long campaign against him, which started during his first run for president in 2016 when the FBI launched a politically motivated investigation of his campaign. During his subsequent four years in office, there have been consistent efforts to remove him from office, first through the Russia-collusion narrative and then through impeachment.

The “610 Office,” one of the Chinese regime’s deadliest and most notorious agencies tasked with clamping down on dissent, exacts enormous influence within the Party and enjoys unchallenged power to persecute religious minorities, an internal document obtained by the Chinese-language Epoch Times shows.

The office, formally known as the Central Leading Group on Preventing and Dealing with Heretical Religions, is an extra-legal Party organization similar to Nazi Germany’s Gestapo, with various names as disguises in public.

It was established by former Chinese Communist Party (CCP) leader Jiang Zemin on June 10, 1999—hence its name—for the sole purpose of carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong, a spiritual meditation practice that originated in China and has since spread to roughly 90 countries.

The practice became enormously popular—with roughly 100 million adherents in China by 1999, according to official estimates. Threatened by this number, which was greater than the number of Party members, Jiang ordered the brutal suppression of Falun Gong practitioners.

A Chinese propaganda outlet paid millions of dollars to The Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal to run advertisements that look to some like news reports.

New documents filed with the U.S. Department of Justice show China Daily paid over $4.6 million to the Post and nearly $6 million to the Journal since November 2016.

China Daily, an English-language newspaper, is overseen by the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) Publicity Department, the governmental agency in charge of disseminating propaganda.

A bicameral group of Democrats introduced legislation that aims to increase transparency and accountability in law enforcement nationwide. The bill was crafted in response to the national protest held after the death of Mr. George Floyd.

Senator Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) praised protesters, saying, “This large, diverse group, so many of them young, gives us hope that Americans are prepared to march and fight to make this a more perfect union, once and for all. And so today, we are taking the first of many steps.”

The Congressional Black Caucus authored the Justice in Policing Act to address the use of excessive force by police, specifically in black and minority communities, who say that access force is often unnecessarily used.

At least some parts of the anarcho-communist movement Antifa are highly organized, including initiation procedures, security protocols, and “lectures” on violent action, according to an undercover reporter who infiltrated one of the Antifa cells on behalf of Project Veritas, an investigative journalism nonprofit.

The reporter, who concealed his face on camera and didn’t reveal his name, spoke about his experience and the information he collected in a video Veritas released on June 4.

The video comes at a time when protests around the country over a police killing of a black man have often turned violent. Officials from both sides of the political aisle have said that outside groups have exploited the recent events to further their own agenda. Antifa cells, in particular, have been named among the prime culprits in inciting violence.

Communist groups—including the extremist organization Antifa—are hijacking what started out as peaceful protests over the death of an unarmed black man to usher in a revolution, according to officials, experts, videos, and anarchists’ own words.

That charge comes amid an unprecedented and coordinated effort behind the riots, the likes of which have never been seen before and which span across multiple states and involve often violent street-level tactics.

Officials from both sides say that outside groups have exploited the recent momentum to further their own agenda. Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, a Democrat, noted that “bad actors continue to infiltrate the rightful protests” and that 80 percent of the rioters have come from outside the state. Federal officials including President Donald Trump have pointed to Antifa.

After Beijing passed the National Security law on May 28 that will take away Hong Kong’s freedom, President Donald Trump delivered a speech in response the following day. It shows the White House is finally taking the right approach to China. Trump’s speech covers four areas.

First, the United States is terminating the relationship with WHO. WHO has followed Beijing’s direction in the entire course of the development of the coronavirus, from failing to alert the world of the virus outbreak in Wuhan, to praising the work of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and holding it up as a model, to changing the disease’s name to COVID-19 to eliminate a word related to China, to finally refusing to reform. In terminating the relationship with WHO Trump is sending a strong warning to all the other world organizations the CCP has infiltrated.

Since the United States has contributed more than 10 times what China did, why did WHO follow Beijing? While the United States has contributed to the organization and the work, the CCP focuses on getting the individual organization leaders under its control.
