There has been an unprecedented effort to destroy Donald Trump rather than defeat him at the polls. Those concerned about democracy being in danger need only look at the list of efforts to destroy him which began before his first election, continued with gusto and anger during his term, and the lawfare episodes which followed Trump’s departure from office.

The Biden administration’s facilitation of “the invasion of our country” was met with fiery outrage from one reporter who blasted the “reverse, upside-down…clown world.”

Only a couple weeks removed from a stint in prison related to the U.S. Capitol breach on Jan. 6, 2021, InfoWars’ Owen Shroyer posted a video to X that featured him confronting Border Patrol agents and the media alike over the crisis at the southern border.

During the nearly ten minutes of video viewed more than 1.7 million times at the time of this post, the reporter highlighted the lunacy of the situation by contending Americans were now second-class citizens in their own country.

“You dirty Americans. Get out of the way! This is the illegal immigrants’ country. What do you guys think you’re doing? This country is for illegal immigrants. You guys are dirty Americans,” shouted Shroyer as a line of media were directed to give way for Border Patrol, clearing a path for a bus to depart once it was loaded with aliens. “How rude of you — how rude of you to think you have a country anymore.”

“Sir, he says,” he remarked as an official approached him asking that he be courteous to the rest of the media filming. “I’m being discourteous. A wide-open border, but I’m being discourteous.”

“You drove a bus through a ravine so we couldn’t see this. Do you think the American people are stupid?” asked Shroyer as the man appeared to walk away. “Nobody’s allowed to see. There is no Biden border invasion. Shut your cameras off.”

“This is what you get when incompetent clowns run your country. And you’re not gonna shut me up. I’m an American citizen. I have a First Amendment right. It’s time we start acting like Americans,” he added.

Touching on the irony that armed officials had been dispatched by the same administration seeking to dismantle American’s Second Amendment rights and that taxpayer-funded handouts were influencing the behavior of aliens entering the country, Shroyer wondered, “Is there a country I can go to and get free stuff? I’m sick of being treated like trash by my government. Maybe there’s a country that’ll give me free stuff.”

“Maybe I’ll just become an illegal immigrant. Maybe I’ll just identify as a Venezuelan prisoner — they’ll let me in,” he quipped before later suggesting, “Everything’s reverse, upside-down and clown world.”

He also criticized Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R) after asking if the servicemembers present represented the Texas National Guard. Wondering at the law signed by the Lone Star State executive making it a misdemeanor to enter Texas illegally, which doesn’t go into effect until March 2024, the reporter remarked, “We’ll send this footage to Abbott. He won’t do anything though.”

Similar facilitation was reported by Ashley St. Clair who documented her recent experience at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and said, “My Delta flight from Phoenix appears to be flying migrants who crossed the border and are being shipped to New York.”

“When I asked a Delta representative if this was the case, his response was ‘What does it matter, they’re humans too.’ What is happening???? Are taxpayer dollars paying for this????” she had posted on X.

Shroyer’s effort to draw attention to the problem that has seen at least 8 million aliens enter the United States during President Joe Biden’s administration was lauded on social media.

The strategy is nothing new, as Biden and Democrats have been pushing the statement for some time now. However, it exemplifies how they plan to further lean into it for what they appear to view as a likely rematch with Trump.

Several prominent Republicans have started to push back against the claim and told Fox News Digital this week that it is Biden's party that is working overtime to undermine the vote.

They pointed to Democrats' efforts to keep Trump off the ballot, imprison him, stifle free speech on social media and rewrite election laws while fighting measures designed to protect ballot integrity. The ongoing efforts, they said, are a much more significant threat to democracy than the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot Biden and Democrats frequently cite.

Democrats have most recently thrown their weight behind state-level legal efforts to prevent Trump from appearing on 2024 presidential ballots, including in Colorado, where the state Supreme Court ruled 4-3 this week that the former president violated the Constitution's 14th Amendment when he "engaged in insurrection" concerning Jan. 6, and should be disqualified.

"Democrats cynically used the COVID-19 pandemic to radically undermine long-standing election laws on the fly and then started pushing for non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections," Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Fox News Digital. "Now the left is working to remove political opponents from the ballot in a shocking display of disregard for the American people's right to choose their candidates."

"These attacks on the democratic process drive down voter confidence and trust in the electoral system. Meanwhile, the RNC and our partners are fighting to make sure the American people choose their presidential candidates, not the courts," she said, adding that the RNC was trying to protect election integrity by fighting for policies to ensure only American citizens vote in elections.

ChatGPT has become one of the most popular AI tools available to the public since its launch in November 2022. An estimated 180.5 million people around the world were using ChatGPT in August, according to Reuters. Users communicate with the chatbot by sending it questions or prompts, to which it quickly sends responses. OpenAI recently released updates that enable users to send visual and audio prompts, which people have been using for a variety of tasks ranging from creating computer code to identifying films based on uploaded screenshots.

Ramaswamy, who, at 38, is the GOP's youngest presidential candidate, began his response by saying AI is a topic for which he believes "a leader from the next generation" will be "necessary in the next president."

As AI development continues, Ramaswamy said technology companies developing AI tools will need to act responsibly. "Just like you can't dump your chemicals, if you're a chemical company, in somebody else's river, well if you're developing an AI algorithm today that has a negative impact on other people, you bear the liability for it," he said.

To illustrate what he identified as the "real danger" of AI, Ramaswamy used an example involving ChatGPT, the chatbot designed by the AI company OpenAI. "You go to ChatGPT, just try typing it in: How do you fight climate change, or racial injustice? It gives you a factual answer, as though it was converting Fahrenheit to Celsius," he said. "That's the real danger of AI, is that people bend the knee to a new master."

Despite the potential benefits of ChatGPT and other AI tools, many tech leaders are warning about the risks AI poses if its development gets out of hand. Members of the public aren't sure they can trust AI, either. In the U.S., a majority of Americans have said they are "more concerned than excited" about the uptick in AI use, according to Pew Research Center survey results released in August.

Ramaswamy told Iowa voters he has prior experience with AI. He said he used AI while working at a drug development company he founded.

"I think AI can have a lot of good uses in this country. But there are also real risks," he said. "The real risk is when it comes to interfacing with people."

The entrepreneur joined the GOP presidential field earlier this year by embracing his role as a self-described "political outsider." He received a boost in the polls after he participated in the first GOP presidential debate in August, during which he engaged in several verbal battles with the other candidates.

National polling averages compiled by FiveThirtyEight and last updated on Friday showed Ramaswamy in third place at 7.2 percent, polling less than 6 percent behind Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Former President Donald Trump remains the race's frontrunner with polling averages more than 40 points higher than all other candidates.

Newsweek reached out to Ramaswamy's campaign by email on Friday for comment.

Google’s AI Bard was asked about me in a series of questions and the results are insane. Bard didn’t just lie about me, it invented fake articles, videos and quotes to paint me as a racist, KKK supporting danger to America. Then it admitted it lied.
