Our thoughts were with her during our march.
All thought her glances would be theirs.

The Königgrätzer Marsch, also known as Der Königgrätzer or Der Königgrätzer Marsch translated King Fuerteventura alternative March, is one of the most famous German military marches, composed in 1866 by Johann Gottfried Piefke in commemoration of the Battle of Königgrätz, the decisive battle of the Austro-Prussian War, in which the Kingdom of Prussia defeated the Austrian Empire. In Piefke's most successful arrangement of the Königgrätzer Marsch, another march, Der Hohenfriedberger (commemorating the Battle of Hohenfriedberg), is used as a trio. The commonly played version is set as an infantry march, while an alternate adaptation is arranged as a cavalry galop. Piefke also composed the "Königgrätzer mit anderem Trio" ("Königgrätzer with other Trio"), but this secondary composition is far less recognized.

On August 11, 2011, it was replaced by a new anthem titled Men - Tyva Men.

The song expresses the Tuvan belief that a person who takes care of his environment, his livestock, and the plentiful taiga will want for nothing. It refers to Tangdy, or the Tannu-Ola mountains, a mountain range in southern Tuva that is revered by the Tuvan people. The name of the mountain range is incorporated into "Tannu-Tuva," the popular name for the Tuvan People's Republic.

English lyrics:
Day by day the years pass by -
Dawns of new generations -
But no one and never
Will forget the name of Lenin.

Lenin is always alive,
Lenin is always with you.
In sorrow, hope and joy
Lenin is with you in your spring.
In every happy day
Lenin is within you and within me.

In time long ago, in harsh darkness
At the rise of Soviet power,
He said that on the Earth
We would build happiness for people.

Lenin is always alive,
Lenin is always with you.
In sorrow, hope and joy
Lenin is with you in your spring.
In every happy day
Lenin is within you and within me.

We follow the Party
Praising Motherland by works.
And all the whole big way
Lenin with us in every work.

Lenin is always alive,
Lenin is always with you.
Lenin is with you in your spring.

English lyrics:
The day and hour have come
that we waited for years
in shackles , in contempt
and in the Turkish slavery

In Pontus mountain peaks
blackened rifles
bring the age of the twenty-first
hymn of the Liberation.

The Resurrection sounds
the big bell
each one of us
lets put our brightest uniforms.

And in front of the picture
of our holy Homeland
offer the sacrifice
of youth, riches and life.

In our Pontiun soil
open in every step
a tomb of the martyrs
of the tyrants stab.

The avengers are calling us
alive and dead
our Homeland, deserted
they call us forth children.

English lyrics:
Inside of the April Celebration
The youth builds the future
Embraced - strong
with Worker,Farmer,Student
and first of all the soldier.

Song of Love sounds
all faces smile
And bind inside the soul
the season of twenty one
the twenty first of April

Inside the hearts arrives the warmth
of the sun of April
and they are build on our chests
Religion,Family
and above all Greece!

Der heimliche Aufmarsch (English: "The Secret Deployment") is a poem by Erich Weinert with music by Hanns Eisler, written in 1929.
The most famous version is the 1938 remake with new music by Eisler, heard at Communist Party rallies.

English lyrics:
There is a whisper going around the world -
Worker, don't you hear it?‎
These are the voices of the war ministers!
Worker don't you hear them?‎
Coal and steel producers are whispering,‎
Chemical warfare production is whispering, too
The whisper comes from all continents:‎
"Mobilization against the Soviet Union!‎"

Workers, peasants, pick up those rifles,
Take those guns into your hands!
Annihilate the fascist bandit armies,‎
Set every heart ablaze!‎
Plant your red banners of labor
On every ramp, on every factory!
Then shall arise from the ruins of the old society
The Socialist World Republic!

Workers, hearken, they are going to war
And they yell: "For nation and race!"
This war is the rulers of the world's
Against the working classes!‎
Because the assault against the Soviet Union
Is the thrust into the heart of the revolution.‎
And the war that sweeps through the countries now,‎
Is the war against you - proletarian!‎

Workers, peasants, pick up those rifles,
Take those guns into your hands!
Annihilate the fascist bandit armies,‎
Set every heart ablaze!‎
Plant your red banners of labor
On every ramp, on every factory!
Then shall arise from the ruins of the old society

The Star-Spangled Banner" is the national anthem of the United States of America. The lyrics come from "Defence of Fort M'Henry", a poem written in 1814 by the 35-year-old lawyer and amateur poet Francis Scott Key after witnessing the bombardment of Fort McHenry by British ships of the Royal Navy in Baltimore Harbor during the Battle of Fort McHenry in the War of 1812.

The poem was set to the tune of a popular British song written by John Stafford Smith for the Anacreontic Society, a men's social club in London. "To Anacreon in Heaven" , with various lyrics, was already popular in the United States. Set to Key's poem and renamed "The Star-Spangled Banner", it soon became a well-known American patriotic song. Although the poem has four stanzas, only the first is commonly sung today.

Lyrics:
O say can you see, by the dawn's early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight's last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets' red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

God Save the Queen" is the national and/or royal anthem in a number of Commonwealth realms, their territories, and the British Crown Dependencies.

It is the national anthem of the United Kingdom and one of two national anthems used by New Zealand since 1977, as well as for several of the UK's territories that have their own additional local anthem. It is also the royal anthem of all the aforementioned countries, as well as Australia (since 1984), Canada (since 1980),Barbados and Tuvalu. In countries not previously part of the British Empire, the tune of "God Save the Queen" has provided the basis for various patriotic songs, though still generally connected with royal ceremony. In the United States, the melody is used for the patriotic song "My Country, 'Tis of Thee".

Lyrics:

Anthem of the Slovene nation is one of the national symbols of Slovenia as a sovereign nation. A historical anthem, from the period when the Slovenes were part of Yugoslavia, is included, too.

The words of the current Slovene national anthem are all or part of Zdravljica, written by the 19th-century Slovene poet France Prešeren; the music was written by the Slovene composer Stanko Premrl in 1905. Emphasising internationalism, it was defined in 1994 as the anthem with the Act on the national symbols of Slovenia. However, even before the breakup of Yugoslavia, the lyrics and music were together adopted as the anthem by the Socialist Republic of Slovenia on 27 September 1989. Therefore, it was the anthem of the Socialist Republic of Slovenia, the Republic of Slovenia as a constituent republic of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 8 March 1990 to 25 June 1991, as well.

Nad Tatrou sa blýska is the national anthem of Slovakia. The origins of the anthem are in the Central European activism of the 19th century. Its main themes are a storm over the Tatra mountains that symbolized danger to the Slovaks, and a desire for a resolution of the threat. It used to be particularly popular during the 1848–1849 insurgencies.

During the days of Czechoslovakia, the anthem was played in many Slovak towns at noon. This tradition ceased to exist after the two nations split. Nad Tatrou sa blýska is now performed mainly at special events, including sporting events.

Slovak lyrics:
Nad Tatrou sa blýska
Hromy divo bijú
Zastavme ich, bratia
Veď sa ony stratia
Slováci ožijú

To Slovensko naše
Posiaľ tvrdo spalo
Ale blesky hromu
Vzbudzujú ho k tomu
Aby sa prebralo

English lyrics:
There is lightning over the Tatras
Thunders loudly sound
Let us stop them, brothers
After all they will disappear
The Slovaks will revive

That Slovakia of ours
Had been sleeping by now
But the thunder's lightnings
Are rousing the land
to wake it up

The İstiklâl Marşı (Turkish pronunciation: [istiˈklaːl marˈʃɯ]; English: Independence March) is the national anthem of the Republic of Turkey, officially adopted on 12 March 1921 —two-and-a-half years before the 29 October 1923 establishment of the nation— both as a motivational musical saga for the troops fighting in the Turkish War of Independence, and as an aspirational anthem for a Republic that was yet to be established.

Penned by Mehmet Âkif Ersoy, and ultimately composed by Osman Zeki Üngör, the theme is one of affection for the Turkish homeland, freedom, and faith, as well as praise for the virtues of hope, devotion, and sacrifice in the pursuit of liberty, all explored through visual, tactile, and kinesthetic imagery as these concepts relate to the flag, the human spirit, and the soil of the homeland. The original manuscript by Ersoy carries the dedication Kahraman Ordumuza – "To our Heroic Army", in reference to the people's army that ultimately won the Turkish War of Independence, with lyrics that reflect on the sacrifices of the soldiers during the war.

Turkish Lyrics:
Korkma, sönmez bu şafaklarda yüzen al sancak;
Sönmeden yurdumun üstünde tüten en son ocak.
O benim milletimin yıldızıdır, parlayacak;
O benimdir, o benim milletimindir ancak.
Çatma, kurban olayım çehreni ey nazlı hilâl!
Kahraman ırkıma bir gül! Ne bu şiddet bu celâl?
Sana olmaz dökülen kanlarımız sonra helâl,
Hakkıdır, Hakk'a tapan, milletimin istiklâl!

English lyrics:
Fear not; For the crimson banner that proudly ripples in this glorious dawn, shall not fade,
Before the last fiery hearth that is ablaze within my homeland is extinguished.
For that is the star of my people, and it will forever shine;
It is mine; and solely belongs to my valiant nation.
Frown not, I beseech you, oh thou coy crescent!
Smile upon my heroic nation! Why the anger, why the rage?
Our blood which we shed for you shall not be worthy otherwise;
For freedom is the absolute right of my God-worshipping nation.

Mila Rodino ("Мила Родино", translated as "Dear Motherland" or "Dear native land") is the current national anthem of Bulgaria. It is based on the music and text of the song "Gorda Stara Planina" by Tsvetan Radoslavov, written and composed as he left to fight in the Serbo-Bulgarian War in 1885. The anthem was adopted in 1964. The text has been changed many times, most recently in 1990.

Between 1886 and 1944, the Bulgarian national anthem was Shumi Maritsa ("Шуми Марица"); from 1950 to 1964, it was Balgariyo mila, zemya na geroi ("Българийо мила, земя на герои"); in the brief period between these two, it was the march "Republiko nasha, zdravey" ("Републико наша, здравей!").

Before becoming the anthem, it was a popular folk song of the Montenegrins, with many variations of its text. The oldest one is dated to the 2nd half of the 19th century, known as "Oh, Bright Dawn of Heroism, oh!", a popular Montenegrin folk song.

The National Anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian: Državna himna Bosne i Hercegovine, Државна химна Босне и Херцеговине) is the name of the official national anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is one of the four national anthems (along with that of Kosovo, Spain and San Marino) in the world to have no official lyrics. The anthem was adopted on 25 June 1999, by the promulgation of the Law on the National Anthem of Bosnia and Herzegovina, replacing the previous anthem, "Jedna si jedina", which excluded the country's Serb and Croat communities, this despite the fact that the text does not mention any nationality. It was in use from 10 February 1998, as the flag and coat of arms.

The composer Dušan Šestić from Banja Luka composed the melody, to which initially there were no lyrics under the working title Intermeco, which is commonly referred to as the title of the anthem.

On February 17, 2008, Kosovo, a province of Serbia, unilaterally declared independence, which hasn’t been recognized by Serbia. After a public contest was held, a new anthem was adopted by the separatist government on June 11 of that year entitled “Europe”. Significantly, the anthem is lyric-less; this may be deliberate to avoid any favouritism towards a particular ethnic group. The title possibly reflects the respect the Kosovo government has for the European Union, as the EU’s anthem, “Ode to Joy” was played at the independence ceremonies for lack of a national anthem, and the national flag resembles the EU flag.

Himni i Flamurit is the national anthem of Albania. The music of the anthem was composed by the Romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu, originally for the song "Pe-al nostru steag e scris Unire" (or "E scris pe tricolor unire").whereas the words were written by the Albanian poet Asdreni (Aleksandër Stavre Drenova), and are merely different from the original Romanian lyrics which Andrei Barseanu wrote for Porumbescu's piece.
The hymn was first published as a poem in Liri e Shqipërisë (in English: Freedom of Albania), an Albanian newspaper in Sofia, Bulgaria, on April 21, 1912. The original title of the poem was "Betimi mi flamur," ("Pledge to the Flag"). It was later printed in a volume of poems by Drenova titled Ëndra e lotë (in English: Dreams and tears), which was published in Bucharest. According to Lasgush Poradeci's memoirs, the anthem, created by the adaptation of the text to the music, was not originally intended to be a national anthem, yet, it was so much liked from people that it was proclaimed as the national anthem in 1912, and it was under its music that the Albanian flag was raised during the Albanian Proclamation of Independence in 1912 in Vlore, Albania.

Albanian lyrics:
Rreth flamurit të përbashkuar
Me një dëshir' e një qëllim,
Të gjith' atij duke iu betuar
Të lidhim besën për shpëtim.
Prej lufte veç ai largohet
Që është lindur tradhëtor,
Kush është burrë nuk frikësohet,
Po vdes, po vdes si një dëshmor!
Prej lufte veç ai largohet
Që është lindur tradhëtor,
Kush është burrë nuk frikësohet,
Po vdes, po vdes si një dëshmor!
Në dorë armët do t'i mbajmë,
Të mbrojmë atdheun në çdo kënd,
Të drejtat tona ne s'i ndajmë;
Këtu armiqtë s'kanë vënd!
Se Zoti vetë e tha me gojë
Që kombe shuhen përmbi dhé,
Po Shqipëria do të rrojë;
Për të, për të luftojmë ne!
Se Zoti vetë e tha me gojë
Që kombe shuhen përmbi dhé,
Po Shqipëria do të rrojë;
Për të, për të luftojmë ne!

English lyrics:
Around our flag we stand united,
With one wish and one goal,
A sacred oath we bestow upon it
Proclaiming loyalty for our salvation.
From war abstains only he,
Who a traitor is born,
He who is a true man is not frightened,
But dies a martyr to the cause.
From war abstains only he,
Who a traitor is born,
He who is a true man is not frightened,
But dies a martyr to the cause.
With weapons in our hands a-brandished,
We will defend our fatherland,
Our sacred rights we’ll not relinquish,
The foe has no place in our land.
For God himself proclaimed:
The nations of the earth shall wane,
And yet will live, will thrive Albania.
For her our fight won’t be in vain.
For God himself proclaimed:
The nations of the earth shall wane,
And yet will live, will thrive Albania.
For her our fight won’t be in vain.

Indonesia Raya" is the national anthem of Indonesia since the proclamation of independence of the Republic of Indonesia on the 17 August 1945. The song was introduced by its composer, Wage Rudolf Supratman, on 28 October 1928 during the Second Indonesian Youth Congress in Batavia. The song marked the birth of the all-archipelago nationalist movement in Indonesia that supported the idea of one single "Indonesia" as successor to the Dutch East Indies, rather than split into several colonies. The first newspaper to openly publish the musical notation and lyric of "Indonesia Raya" — an act of defiance towards the Dutch authorities — was the Chinese Indonesian weekly Sin Po.

The first stanza of "Indonesia Raya" was chosen as the national anthem when Indonesia proclaimed its independence at 17 August 1945. Jozef Cleber, a Dutch composer, created Indonesia Raya arrangement for philharmonic orchestra in 1950. This arrangement is widely been used currently for formal and some informal purposes.

"Indonesia Raya" is played in flag raising ceremonies in schools usually on Mondays. The flag is raised in a solemn and timed motion so that it reaches the top of the flagpole as the anthem ends. The main flag raising ceremony is held annually on 17 August to commemorate Independence day. The ceremony is led by the President of Indonesia.

Indonesian lyrics:
Indonesia, tanah airku
Tanah tumpah darahku
Di sanalah aku berdiri
Jadi pandu ibuku
Indonesia, kebangsaanku
Bangsa dan tanah airku
Marilah kita berseru
"Indonesia bersatu!"
Hiduplah tanahku, hiduplah negeriku
Bangsaku, rakyatku, semuanya
Bangunlah jiwanya, bangunlah badannya
Untuk Indonesia Raya
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Tanahku, negeriku yang kucinta
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Hiduplah Indonesia Raya!
Indonesia, tanah yang mulia
Tanah kita yang kaya
Di sanalah aku berdiri
Untuk selama-lamanya
Indonesia, tanah pusaka
Pusaka kita semuanya
Marilah kita mendoa
"Indonesia bahagia!"
Suburlah tanahnya, suburlah jiwanya
Bangsanya, rakyatnya, semuanya
Sadarlah hatinya, sadarlah budinya
Untuk Indonesia Raya
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Tanahku, negeriku yang kucinta
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Hiduplah Indonesia Raya!
Indonesia, tanah yang suci
Tanah kita yang sakti
Di sanalah aku berdiri
N'jaga ibu sejati
Indonesia, tanah berseri
Tanah yang aku sayangi
Marilah kita berjanji
"Indonesia abadi!"
Selamatlah rakyatnya, selamatlah putranya
Pulaunya, lautnya, semuanya
Majulah negerinya, majulah pandunya
Untuk Indonesia Raya
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Tanahku, negeriku yang kucinta
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Hiduplah Indonesia Raya!
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Tanahku, negeriku yang kucinta
Indonesia Raya, merdeka, merdeka!
Hiduplah Indonesia Raya!

English Lyrics:
Indonesia, my homeland
The land where I shed my blood
Right there, I stand
To be a scout of my motherland
Indonesia, my nationality
My nation and my homeland
Let us exclaim
"Indonesia unites!"
Long live my land, long live my state
My nation, my people, entirely
Let us build its soul, let us build its body
For the Great Indonesia
Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
My land, my country which I love
Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
Long live Great Indonesia!
Indonesia, a noble land
Our wealthy land
Right there, I stand
Forever and ever
Indonesia, a hereditary land
A heritage of ours
Let us pray
"To Indonesians' happiness!"
Fertile may its soil, flourish may its soul
Its nation, its people, entirely
Aware may its heart, aware may its mind
For the Great Indonesia
Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
My land, my country which I love
Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
Long live Great Indonesia!
Indonesia, a sacred land
Our victorious land
Right there, I stand
To guard the pure motherland
Indonesia, a radiant land
A land which I adore
Let us pledge
"Indonesia is eternal!"
Safe may its people, safe may its children
Its islands, its seas, entirely
The state progresses, its scouts advance
For the Great Indonesia
Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
My land, my country which I love
Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
Long live Great Indonesia!Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
My land, my country which I love
Great Indonesia, independent and sovereign!
Long live Great Indonesia

God Save the Queen" (alternatively "God Save the King") is the national and/or royal anthem in a number of Commonwealth realms, their territories, and the British Crown Dependencies. The words and title are adapted to the gender of the current monarch, i.e. replacing Queen with King and she with he when a king reigns. The author of the tune is unknown and it may originate in plainchant, but a 1619 attribution to John Bull is sometimes made.

It is the national anthem of the United Kingdom and one of two national anthems used by New Zealand since 1977, as well as for several of the UK's territories that have their own additional local anthem. It is also the royal anthem of all the aforementioned countries, as well as Australia (since 1984), Canada (since 1980), Barbados and Tuvalu. In countries not previously part of the British Empire, the tune of "God Save the Queen" has provided the basis for various patriotic songs, though still generally connected with royal ceremony. In the United States, the melody is used for the patriotic song "My Country, 'Tis of Thee".

Lyrics:
God save our gracious King!
Long live our noble King!
God save the King!
Send him victorious,
Happy and glorious,
Long to reign over us:
God save the King
