With just over one week to go until Election Day here in the U.S., Republicans and Democrats are offering Americans more war, with their endless support for Israel and its genocidal war against the Palestinians that is escalating into a regional war that could lead to WW3. I was joined by Libertarian Presidential Nominee Chase Oliver to discuss his view on U.S. foreign policy, and how he would handle the Military Industrial Complex and the death and destruction it has unleashed around the world.

A new report from the Lancet medical journal found that the true death toll from Israel's bombardment and blockade of the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip could exceed 186,000—five times higher than the 37,396 reported last month.

Prof. Francis Boyle, a human rights lawyer who represented Bosnia in a genocide case at the ICJ and won two orders in their favor, noted that these figures don't come as a surprise, and the true death toll could even be as high as 500,000 Palestinians killed so far by Israel's genocide in Gaza, when all deaths from disease, starvation, etc. are factored in.

Zelensky's 5-year term came to an end this month, which has fueled the question of who is now the "legitimate" president of Ukraine, as Zelensky refused to allow elections, due to the fact that he has kept the country under martial law...

International Relations and Security Analyst Mark Sleboda noted that the question of the Ukrainian presidency shouldn't start on 20 May 2024... it should go back a decade to the 2014 coup in Kiev that overthrew the last legitimate democratically-elected Ukrainian president.

All of this, as NATO members start to give in to pressure to remove restrictions on the weapons they send to Ukraine being used to strike Russian territory (even though Kiev has already been doing just that, with NATO's help)

The Biden Admin. wasted no time in rushing to justify the horrific massacre committed by Israel in Rafah, in which the IDF bombed a refugee camp in a UN "Safe Zone," which led to a fire that killed dozens of Palestinian civilians—leaving women and children dismembered, decapitated and burned alive.

The chief prosecutor for the International Criminal Court confirmed that he is seeking arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, along with three Hamas leaders for “war crimes and crimes against humanity."

Despite international warnings, Israel continues to move forward with its ground invasion of Rafah, as the UN estimates that more than 600,000 Palestinians have fled the city in a matter of days, the majority of who have already been displaced from their homes in the Gaza Strip, and facing famine.

While the U.S. continues to provide unconditional military, political and public support for Israel, members of the Biden Admin are finally starting to say the quiet part out loud, with Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell admitting the "total victory" over Hamas that Israel claims to be pursuing is not "likely or possible."

Russian's Defense Ministry confirmed that its forces launched a barrage of long-range precision weapons at Ukrainian targets, which included Kiev's energy sector, as President Putin was inaugurated for a fifth term in office, after an overwhelming victory amid a record turnout in Russia's latest election.

With pro-Palestinian protests spreading to university campuses across the U.S., Congress has apparently decided that if they aren't able to convince the public that the demonstrations are antisemitic, then they will have to make them antisemitic... by expanding the definition of the word.

Rabbi Yaakov Shapiro noted that the new crackdown shouldn't come as a surprise because the stifling of free speech is needed in order for Zionism to flourish. He also pointed out that the new definition of "antisemitism" Congress wants the Dept. of Education to be forced to follow, includes not only criticism of the state of Israel, but it would also make Judaism itself... antisemitic.

While reports say that Israel and Hamas are nearing a temporary ceasefire agreement that could see some Israeli hostages exchanged for Palestinians captives, that progress hasn't stopped Netanyahu from reminding the world that he still plans to move forward with Israel's planned ground invasion of Rafah, which will put around 1.5 million Palestinians are risk.

Members of Congress are celebrating, and waving tiny Ukrainian flags after the House passed around $95 Billion in foreign aid that includes around $60 Billion in Ukraine-related funding. But that money won't change the inevitable outcome of Washington's proxy war against Russia. It will only prolong the suffering for the Ukrainian people, as the U.S. continues to prop up the Kiev regime.

The House also passed a new round of military aid for Israel, serving as a reminder that no matter what the Biden Admin claims when they say they want to see less Palestinians killed, they continue to find ways to help their closet ally carry on with its genocide in Gaza.

The Biden Admin claims they support a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine... but that didn't stop them from using their veto power to strike down the resolution to support Palestine's status as a full member state in the United Nations.

The U.S. submitted a new set of assurances to London's high court this week, in an effort to force the extradition of WikiLeaks Founder Julian Assange to face charges that could put him in prison for life. But those "assurances" related to whether Assange would be granted First Amendment rights as a foreign national, and whether he would face the death penalty in violation of extradition law, were riddled with loopholes.

Independent Journalist and Editor of The Dissenter Newsletter, Kevin Gosztola, noted that the concerns surrounding the U.S. Government's treatment of Assange also extends to additional charges they could levy against him if he is extradited, as the current charges only pertain to the initial leaks, and don't include other key troves like the Vault 7 leaks.

Israel is now vowing to respond to Iran's retaliatory attack, and while the Biden Admin claims to have told Netanyahu that the U.S. won't aid in any offensive action, they are still promising to provide air defense... just like they did when Tehran retaliated for Israel's deadly attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria.

Journalist and Editor-in-Chief of The Cradle, Sharmine Narwani, reported that an Iranian military security official revealed exclusively to The Cradle that the U.S. reached out and asked Iran to allow Israel "a symbolic strike to save face,” which was “outright rejected” and met with warnings that any attack from Israel targeting Iran will be met with immediate action.

Iran launched a barrage of missiles targeting military sites in Israel over the weekend, in retaliation for Israel's deadly attack on an Iranian consulate building in Damascus earlier this month. While the world was waiting to see what Iran's response would be, Tehran was attempting to decrease tensions by calling for the UN Security Council to condemn Israel's assault and calling for Israel to allow a ceasefire in Gaza.

Journalist Marwa Osman noted that it was only during Iran's retaliatory attack that the Palestinians had a few hours of peace, as Israel's focus turned from committing genocide in Gaza, to calling on its friends to provide air defense. Those friends just happened to include the U.S., the UK, France and Jordan... and the cost was around $1 BILLION.

A landmark case kicked off in the International Court of Justice this week, as Nicaragua sued Germany for violating the 1948 UN Genocide Convention by enabling Israel to commit genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza by providing military aid and cutting funding for UNRWA.

Prof. Francis Boyle, a human rights lawyer who represented Bosnia in a genocide case at the ICJ and won two orders in their favor, noted that this case has the power to set the precedent that he was fighting for decades ago, which is that countries who enable genocide will be held accountable for their crimes.

The International Atomic Energy Agency is condemning the latest Ukrainian drone attacks on the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant, but as usual, refusing to assign any blame on the attacks that came from Ukraine, targeting the Russian-held plant, on the same day that IAEA experts were inspecting it.

It has been two weeks since the horrific terror attack near Moscow that left over 140 people dead, and while the U.S. was quick to describe this as an open-and-shut case that they blamed on the group 'ISIS-K', countless questions remained about the four suspected gunmen who were caught fleeing on their way to the Ukrainian border.

ISIS-K is billed as a branch of the Islamic State operating out of Afghanistan that has its sights set on global terror, and could pose a threat to the U.S. in a way that the original ISIS never has. But the group also has the CIA's footprint all over it, from its leader, who has a history of working with CIA proxies in Afghanistan, to its current members, who include Afghan spies and soldiers who once worked with the U.S.

There wasn't just one Israeli airstrike that killed seven aid workers in Gaza, who were traveling in cars marked with the logo of their organization, on roads pre-approved by the IDF—there were three separate airstrikes, and as we're now learning, Israel bombed the aid workers until they died.

Political commentator and Founder of Syriana Analysis, Kevork Almassian, noted that Israel's goal has been to make the Gaza Strip uninhabitable for the Palestinians, and that requires making the Israeli Defense Minister's promise of a complete blockade a realty. As Palestinians starve to death, Israel is openly targeting those who attempt to give them access to humanitarian aid.
