I discuss some data that I think is most relevant and important for people to understand about Ireland's long term future.
I get into economic realities and their long term impact as well as what trends are coming regarding aging and the loss of our young people.
I discuss the culture of incompetence and group think that permeates the political and media classes.

This is a different approach to my standard videos but I wanted to try something different. I hope you find something of value.

I outline Ireland's economic reality and what went wrong in this country to bring about this outcome. In my view the real catalyst for the economic bubble and inevitable crash was the decision to join the Euro.
The effects of this in a nutshell were loss of control over our interest rates and exchange rates as well as other economic mechanisms usually available to sovereign nations.
Of course the decision to nationalise all the banks and guarantee the payment of all the bondholders, even those whose investments were high risk.

The saddest reality of all of this is that none of the lessons have been learned and today Ireland has even less ability to face another recession than back then. We are about to increase public spending further, have emptied our pension reserves, have ignored the catastrophic effects of joining the euro and have been harvested of assets by vulture funds.

Remember that these things can happen and inevitably will happen again so try and prepare yourself as best you can by making god life choices and staying out of debt as much as possible.

Just me talking about my experiences visiting different cities in Europe over the last few years.
I compare my experiences and observations of three cities, Paris, Copenhagen and Poznan in Poland with what we see happening daily through the media.
It is my assertion that cities in countries like Sweden, France and Germany could be already lost to migrants from the Middle East and Africa.
I do however see eastern Europe and countries like Hungary and Poland as where European civilisation will be saved and ultimately rebuilt from.
