As a voter who lives far away from the Beltway bubble, I increasingly find myself harboring an uncomfortable secret: I like Donald Trump, and think he’s the perfect president for these times.
Now, I know that’s a big no-no. In fact, I probably should keep it to myself. After all, the mainstream media has been working non-stop to make me and countless others hate the president and see him as Public Enemy No. 1.
I’m also decidedly not the kind of voter who is supposed to like Trump; in fact, all my intersecting identities are supposed to hate Trump with a vengeance: I’m a woman, a legal immigrant, a person of color (never liked the term), a former Democrat, and a third-party voter in 2016.
Liking Trump openly is very difficult these days, and it is not recommended that you do so. It’s especially difficult in the social circles I move in.
If you’ve noticed, even some Trump voters and Trump-supporting commentators say things like, “I don’t like Trump, but I like his policies,” or “He has flaws, but…” which is a neat way of putting distance between oneself and the president.
Enumerating the reasons Trump is alright is especially necessary because of the constant vituperation he faces everyday from different liberal quarters. Here are 10 reasons I like Trump.

Politicians, celebrities, journalists, Nobel Peace prize winners as well as current and former heads of state sent a letter to President Donald Trump urging him to pardon WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
The letter was included with Assange’s formal pardon request that was sent to the White House in December.
Among the signatories are Roger Stone and Dinesh D’Souza, who both received pardons from President Trump themselves.
The letter explained that President Trump could put a “defining stamp on your presidential legacy by pardoning Julian Assange or stopping his extradition.”

Evidence of planned attack on Capitol undercuts Dems' inci**ment claim

The Democratic impeachment claim that President Trump spurred the attack on the U.S. Capitol by whipping his supporters into a vio**nt mob is coming under scrutiny as evidence mounts that the siege was not spontaneous but planned well in advance.
The release of initial court documents show that at least two suspects arrived on or before Jan. 6 armed with explosives, tactical gear and caches of weapons. Facebook has come under fire for failing to remove “St** the Steal” pages allegedly used by organizers weeks and even months ahead of the rally.
Also emerging are media reports that investigators believe the a**ault was coordinated and “not just a protest that spiraled out of control,” as CNN reported Thursday, and that the FBI knew beforehand of plans for a “war” at the Capitol, as per The Washington Post.

Amazon blasts Parler lawsuit: 'There is no merit to these claims'

Amazon Web Services disputed Parler’s allegations in a lawsuit alleging Amazon violated antitrust law, breached the companies’ contract, and was motivated by a political bias.
The anti-Big Tech social media app Parler filed a lawsuit against Amazon in a Seattle-based federal court saying that Amazon’s decision to take the platform off its servers was equivalent to “pulling the plug” on its business.
Parler alleged that Amazon’s decision would benefit Twitter and claimed that the crackdown was “apparently designed to reduce competition in the microblogging services market to the benefit of Twitter.”

Parler moves to Epik, a domain registrar known for hosting far-right extremist content

After Amazon Web Services (AWS) severed ties with Parler, citing the social-media platform's history of hosting far-right extremist content that contributed to Wednesday's riot at the US Capitol, the social platform appears to have found a new home.
Parler registered its domain with Epik, a company known for hosting other far-right websites including Gab, according to publicly available WHOIS information. The news was first reported by James Iles, a writer whose blog focuses on domain names.
In a statement released Monday, Epik said that the company had "no contact or discussions with Parler in any form" prior to the website registering its domain with them. Epik added that "to date, no communication has been received by them for discussion of future service provision."
The statement went on to rail against social-media companies for their increased moderation. "The staggering size of Twitter and Facebook alone, have made real change or accountability almost impossible, as the political interests and objectives of their own executives end up creating an undeniable double standard for both policing and enforcement," Epik SVP Robert Davis writes, appearing to reference the platforms' decisions to ban President Donald Trump.

Facebook censors libertarian Ron Paul amid Big Tech purge

Former Texas congressman Ron Paul says he’s been blocked from using his Facebook page for unspecified violations of “community standards” as Big Tech purges users following last week’s Capitol riot.
Paul, a libertarian leader and critic of President Trump, tweeted a screenshot of his temporarily restricted Facebook page.

“With no explanation other than ‘repeatedly going against our community standards,’ @Facebook has blocked me from managing my page. Never have we received notice of violating community standards in the past and nowhere is the offending post identified,” Paul tweeted.
His most recent post linked to an article he wrote denouncing “shocking and chilling” censorship on social media.
Paul, 85, unsuccessfully ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 2008 and 2012 as an anti-war, pro-civil liberties candidate. His son is Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), who opposed Trump’s request to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral win and called Trump’s pre-riot speech “irresponsible.“
In response to his father being censored, Sen. Paul tweeted, “Facebook now considers advocating for liberty to be sedition. Where will it end?”
Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Although his son sought to work with and influence Trump, the elder Paul remained an often fiery critic. He opposed Trump’s foreign and immigration policies, and said a Mexico border wall might be used for “keeping us in.” He mused about Trump being vulnerable to a challenge in 2020.

Facebook will start taking down content containing the phrase “Stop the Steal,” the company announced Monday, as tech companies continue an unprecedented crackdown on conspiracy theories that fueled the Capitol riots last week.

The “Walk Away” movement has been flushed down an Orwellian “Memory Hole” at Facebook.
Founder Brandon Straka, his team, and his 500,000-strong Facebook page with citizens who abandoned the Democratic Party were purged from the site this week.
“FACEBOOK has removed the #WalkAway Campaign and has BANNED ME and EVERY MEMBER of my team!!!” he tweeted Friday. “Over half a million people in #WalkAway with hundreds of thousands of testimonial videos and stories is GONE. Facebook has banned everything related to #WalkAway.”
Mr. Straka also included screenshots from Facebook informing him that his page had violated the company’s terms of service.
The page allegedly ran afoul of “hateful, threatening, or obscene” content.

“@SenTedCruz @tedcruz I need your help,” Mr. Straka added. “PLEASE CONTACT ME. The entire #WalkAway movement & every employee & volunteer from my organization was BANNED today from Facebook. This is only the beginning of a total conservative shutdown if we don’t get help. Patriots, PLZ retweet.”
Contacting Mr. Cruz, a long-time critic of censorship by social media giants, was a logical move on Mr. Straka’s part.
“These are the most powerful companies on the face of the earth and they feel zero accountability to any elected official,” Mr. Cruz said in December. “For all of us who care about free speech that should worry us greatly. YouTube’s latest policy [to delete content questioning election integrity] is ridiculous. … Simply exercising monopoly power to say ‘the views that I don’t like shall disappear and have never exist’ that should scare everyone.”

Last night, after facing calls from an employee union to stop hosting Parler through their web services platform, Amazon went ahead and joined Apple and Google in severing their relationship with Parler.
Union demands aside, it’s likely that Amazon would’ve done this anyway, as it comes following a seemingly coordinated assault from big tech to take down the alternative social media platform. Google banned Parler from their Google Play app store, while Apple banned Parler from theirs. Prior to the ban, Parler was the #1 app in the store.

Immediately following its ban, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey posted a tweet subtly celebrating the hardships of a competitor.
In an email to Parler, Amazon said “Recently, we’ve seen a steady increase in this violent content on your website, all of which violates our terms. [W]e cannot provide services to a customer that is unable to effectively identify and remove content that encourages or incites violence against others. Because Parler cannot comply with our terms of service and poses a very real risk to public safety, we plan to suspend Parler’s account effective Sunday, January 10th, at 11:59PM PST.”
The type of content on Parler that violates their terms can also be found on Facebook and Twitter, who face no consequences for it.
In response to the news, Parler CEO John Matze said that as a result, it is possible “Parler will be unavailable on the internet for up to a week as we rebuild from scratch. We prepared for events like this by never relying on Amazon’s proprietary infrastructure and building bare metal products. We will try our best to move to a new provider right now as we have many competing for our business.”

SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook on Thursday said it will block President Trump on its platforms at least until the end of his term on Jan. 20, as much of the mainstream online world moved forcefully to limit the president after years of inaction.

But Twitter, which had locked Mr. Trump’s account on Wednesday for posts that violated its rules, lifted the suspension, allowing the president to tweet. Late on Thursday, Mr. Trump marked his return to social media by posting a two minute 41 second video on Twitter in which he said he would support a peaceful transition of power.

Facebook and Twitter said they made their contrasting decisions for different reasons. Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook’s chief executive, said in a post that the social network decided to cut off Mr. Trump because a rampage by pro-Trump supporters in the nation’s capital a day earlier, which was urged on by the president, showed he wanted to undermine the transition to President-elect Joseph R. Biden Jr.

“We believe the risks of allowing the president to continue to use our service during this period are simply too great,” Mr. Zuckerberg wrote. As a result, he said, Facebook and its photo-sharing site Instagram would extend blocks, first put in place on Wednesday, on Mr. Trump’s ability to post “until the peaceful transition of power is complete.”

Twitter had said on Wednesday that while it saw a “risk of harm” in Mr. Trump’s messages, the company would only permanently suspend the president’s account if he continued to break its rules. Mr. Trump deleted the tweets that had prompted the locking of his account, Twitter said Thursday, starting a countdown to his access being restored.

Twitter appeared to suspend the accounts of former national security adviser Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn and lawyer Sidney Powell.

Both accounts display the text: “Account suspended … Twitter suspends accounts which violate the Twitter Rules.”

“The accounts have been suspended in line with our policy on Coordinated Harmful Activity,” a Twitter spokesperson said in a statement to news outlets on Friday and claimed the suspension had to do with the “QAnon” movement. “We’ve been clear that we will take strong enforcement action on behavior that has the potential to lead to offline harm, and given the renewed potential for violence surrounding this type of behavior in the coming days, we will permanently suspend accounts that are solely dedicated to sharing QAnon content.”

Twitter had placed a temporary suspension on Wood’s account for a tweet that incited violence, but instituted a permanent ban after the 68-year-old attorney publicly said he would begin posting from a second account. Doing so triggered the platform’s rule on “ban evasion,” according to a Twitter spokesperson, leading to Wood’s permanent removal from the platform.

The woman who was shot and killed inside the Capitol as part of the mob retweeted Wood on the day that she died.

A lawyer who represented Atlanta Olympics security guard Richard Jewell and Covington Catholic High School student Nicholas Sandmann, Wood has over the past year become a Trump firebrand, tweeting QAnon delusions and threats against the president’s opponents. His tweets, which garnered thousands of comments, likes, and retweets, advocated for an open revolt against the US government just days ahead of pro-Trump rioters storming the Capitol.

The tweet that triggered the initial suspension came just before a mob flooded the halls of Congress as US lawmakers were certifying the results of the presidential election, which Joe Biden won. In the tweet, Wood said that “the time has come Patriots” and that it was “time to fight for our freedom.” He included an image that had the message “1776 Again,” a reference to the US revolution.

On Wednesday, Wood confirmed to BuzzFeed News that he had been suspended for 12 hours for a “tweet that allegedly incited violence.” On Thursday morning, a Twitter spokesperson said that suspension had been turned into a permanent ban after Wood posted on Parler, a social media platform favored by conservatives, that he would be tweeting from a different account.
“I am now posting on Twitter @FightBackLaw until Jack the Commie lifts my suspension tomorrow,” he wrote on Parler, referring to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey. Twitter also banned @FightBackLaw.

Vice President Mike Pence did not acknowledge how seven states sent two certificates to Washington, one for President Donald Trump and one for President-elect Joe Biden, during the joint session of Congress.
Pence only read off one certificate, for Biden, for the seven states in question: Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

Before reading each state’s certificate, Pence asked the joint session if there were objections. He would later add: “This certificate from [a state], the parliamentarians advise me, is the only certificate of vote from that state that purports to be a return from the state and that has annexed to it a certificate from the authority of the state purporting to appoint and ascertain electors.”

The Electoral College Act, passed some 150 years ago, outlines a scenario where a state sends “more than one return or paper purporting to be a return.” It calls on the vice president in his or her role as president of the Senate to open “all the certificates and papers purporting to be certificates of the electoral votes” during the joint session to count electoral votes.
What Pence said as he called out states differed from what vice presidents said in previous sessions, Politico noted.

In past joint sessions, vice presidents have read so-called alternative electors. For instance, Vice President Richard Nixon in 1961. Nixon was initially declared the winner of Hawaii, but candidate John F. Kennedy was later certified as the state’s winner, just two days before the joint session that year. Congress received certificates from Republican electors, Democratic electors, and a package from the Archivist of the United States.

“The Chair has received three certificates from persons claiming to be the duly appointed electors from the State of Hawaii. The Chair will hand these certificates one at a time to the tellers who will read the certificates and the attached papers in full. After the first certificate has been read the Chair will then hand the second certificate to the tellers, and then the third,” Nixon said.

Nixon then suggested the electors named by Hawaii’s governor, or the electors for Kennedy, be considered the lawful objectors. No one objected, so the session moved forward.

Pence’s office didn’t return an inquiry on why he didn’t acknowledge alternate slates.

Loeffler withdraws objection to Biden victory
Sen. Kelly Loeffler, R-Ga., said Wednesday she would abandon her objections to the counting of Electoral College votes for President-elect Joe Biden after the rioting at the Capitol.

“I cannot now in good conscience object to the certification of these voters,” said Loeffler, who lost her runoff election Tuesday to the Democrat Raphael Warnock. “The violence, the lawlessness and siege of the halls of Congress are abhorrent and stand as a direct attack on the very institution my objection was intended to protect: the sanctity of the American democratic process.”
She said there were last-minute changes to election rules and “serious irregularities." But she said those were no excuse for the violence of the mob that swarmed and occupied the Capitol.
“There is no excuse for the events that took place in these chambers today,” said Loeffler, who received applause as she finished speaking. “I pray that America never suffers such a dark day again.”

WASHINGTON—Protesters breached the Capitol on Wednesday afternoon as both the House and Senate were meeting inside after President Trump urged demonstrators to march there, urging them to pressure Congress to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s win.
Hundreds of protesters could be seen pushing back police, waving Trump and American flags and cheering from the balconies of the Capitol building. Thousands of protesters surrounded the Capitol on all sides, and some climbed up the outside walls.
The police presence appeared to be minimal, though there were some police in riot gear on the east side of the Capitol by the Senate entrance.
Protesters chanted “Take the building!” and “Stop the steal!”—a popular refrain as Mr. Trump’s supporters challenged the results of the November presidential election.

The protest took place as Congress was set to ratify President-elect Biden’s Electoral College win.
District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser ordered a citywide curfew from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday. U.S. Capitol Police asked occupants to evacuate two congressional office buildings, according to police alerts sent to staff, as pro-Trump protesters clashed with law enforcement.

Hawley made the remarks while responding to questions by Fox News’ Bret Baier, who asked the Missouri senator whether the aim of the GOP effort to raise objections is to overturn the results of the election and keep President Donald Trump in the White House.
In response, Hawley said his constituents have raised “major, major concerns about the integrity, the fairness of this election.”

Republican Sen. Kelly Loeffler of Georgia will oppose the certification of the Electoral College results on Wednesday, she said in a statement released Monday evening.

Loeffler will launch an effort separate from a dozen of her fellow Republican senators who have already said they will challenge Democratic President-elect Joe Biden's win during the certification vote. At least 140 House Republicans will also object to the certification.

Just minutes before Loeffler's tweet, her fellow Georgia Republican, Sen. David Perdue, tweeted a clip of his interview on Fox News on Sunday in which he said he is urging his colleagues to object.

"I'm encouraging my colleagues to object. This is something that the American people demand right now," he said. "There are huge irregularities in Georgia. They need to be investigated, and they need to be corrected, in my opinion."

Both Loeffler and Perdue are in the midst of tight election runoff races in Georgia, where they will face off against their respective Democratic opponents, the Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff, on Tuesday -- a day before the certification vote.

Perdue's first term ended Sunday. The results of the runoff won't be certified in time for the vote on Wednesday, therefore Perdue won't have a vote. However, Loeffler, because she is filling a seat vacated by the retirement of Sen. Jonny Isakson, will remain in office until the results of the runoff are certified by the Georgia secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger.

President Trump urged fellow Republican Brad Raffensperger, the Georgia secretary of state, to “find” enough votes to overturn his defeat in an extraordinary one-hour phone call Saturday that legal scholars described as a flagrant abuse of power and a potential criminal act.
The Washington Post obtained a recording of the conversation in which Trump alternately berated Raffensperger, tried to flatter him, begged him to act and threatened him with vague criminal consequences if the secretary of state refused to pursue his false claims, at one point warning that Raffensperger was taking “a big risk.”
Throughout the call, Raffensperger and his office’s general counsel rejected Trump’s assertions, explaining that the president is relying on debunked conspiracy theories and that President-elect Joe Biden’s 11,779-vote victory in Georgia was fair and accurate.

President Trump held a one-hour long phone call on Saturday with crooked Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and state election officials on the 2020 election in his state that was wrought with fraud.
It’s not clear if Ruby Freeman or Ralph Jones, Sr. were on the call.
In the one-hour phone call on Saturday, President Trump insisted he won the state and threatened vague legal consequences.
Raffensperger’s team leaked the call to the far-left Washington Post.
It took 24 hours for the Washington Post to publish a hit piece, using edited audio clips, on the president’s phone call.
Georgia Republican chairman David Shafer later announced that President Trump and his team filed two lawsuits against Secretary of State Raffensperger.

President Donald Trump is in a “really good position” for Wednesday’s challenge in Congress, according to former Director of National Intelligence Ric Grenell.
“The Democrats have moved from there’s not any fraud, to there’s not widespread [fraud], and now their new mantra is there is ‘not enough fraud to overturn’ the election,” Grenell told Newsmax, adding that “everybody knows this election was full of fraud.”
About a dozen senators, led by Sens. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) and Ted Cruz (R-Texas), are challenging states’ electoral votes. Well over 40 House lawmakers are also slated to partake in the challenge on Jan. 6 when the Joint Session of Congress meets.
“Every single time we tried to bring this forward to the courts, you know, they’ve just been largely dismissive,” said Grennell, who helped lead Trump’s legal challenges in Nevada. “So I think that the rule of law and the process is that, on Wednesday, we get to showcase this to the politicians and see where the chips fall.”
Grennell also praised Cruz, who called for an “emergency audit” of the election results.
“He is trying every possible legal effort to highlight this fraud, so we just have to have people that are willing to listen,” Grenell said.
On Sunday, Cruz elaborated on the potential challenge.
“I think we in Congress have an obligation to do something about that; we have an obligation to protect the integrity of the democratic system,” he told Fox Business on Sunday. The Republican senator noted that numerous Americans do not believe the Nov. 3 presidential election results were valid as Trump and his team have called for courts and state legislatures to overturn key states’ electoral results.

Those allegations have been rejected by multiple courts, in some cases on procedural grounds, and then-Attorney General William Barr, who said he found no evidence of widespread voter fraud that would alter the result of the election.
Vice President Mike Pence said Saturday that he welcomes the challenge, citing the “concerns of millions of Americans about voter fraud and irregularities in the last election,” but other Republicans were less enthusiastic.

Donald Trump posted the message on Twitter after returning to Washington early from his Florida resort amid a fight with Congress over a defense bill and coronavirus aid checks.

Washington:
President Donald Trump in a New Year's Eve message reflected on his accomplishments in office, calling them "historic victories," while his successor, President-elect Joe Biden, struck an upbeat tone in looking ahead to 2021.
After weeks of vowing to win his fight to remain in office, Republican Trump said in a video posted on Twitter: "We have to be remembered for what's been done."

Trump, who has yet to formally concede his November election defeat to his Democratic rival, returned to Washington early from his Florida resort amid a fight with Congress over a defense bill and coronavirus aid checks.
Speaking from Rehobeth Beach, Delaware, Biden paid tribute to healthcare workers and encouraged people to get vaccinated in a brief appearance with his wife, Jill Biden, on the long-running ABC special "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2021."
"I'm absolutely, positively confident - confident - we're going to come back and we're going to come back even stronger than before," said Biden, who takes office on Jan. 20.
He repeated his call for vaccines to be distributed more quickly.

nventor Jovan Pulitzer joined radio host Monica Matthews on Thursday after his explosive testimony in the Georgia Senate Judiciary subcommittee on Elections on Wednesday.
Jovan Pulitzer destroyed Georgia’s corrupted 2020 election process and results during the hearing on Wednesday. Pulitzer explained how he can look at the Georgia ballots and determine almost immediately if a ballot is fraudulent or not. Pulitzer notes that he can look at 500,000 ballots in a couple hours.
Then following the hearing the subcommittee unanimously passed a motion to audit Fulton County’s absentee ballots with the process Pulitzer outlined during the hearing.
During Thursday’s discussion with Monica Matthews the two discussed the process of exposing ballot fraud via technology along with very heartfelt personal reasons every American should demand the integrity of this election be upheld. Pulitzer also confirmed that China is in fact, online with a GA polling station TODAY.
Pulitzer told Monica Matthews that as soon as he was tasked with auditing the Fulton County ballots trucks pulled up to the facility and the ballots were being loaded into the trucks and were being shredded.
Jovan Pulitzer: I’d like your permission of you and your fine audience that as I answer you that I have your permission to piss you off… The very minute that order went through and that order was followed, and all the legal notices were done, it didn’t even take four hours later where moving trucks with this stuff was backed up to those buildings trying to get rid of the evidence.

SAN FRANCISCO - California’s most densely populated area continues to set new death and hospitalization records and will remain under strict stay-home orders for the foreseeable future as another hospital-filling coronavirus surge looms in mere weeks, public health officials said.
Los Angeles County, which has recorded 40% of all COVID-19 deaths in the state, reported another 227 new deaths on Tuesday, although the new daily record included reporting from holiday backlogs. The county’s public health department also confirmed its highest number of hospitalizations reported in a day, at more than 7,000 people, a nearly 1,000% increase from two months ago.

California’s top health official, Dr. Mark Ghaly, announced Tuesday an extension of the Dec. 6 lockdown restrictions for the county and 22 others in Southern California and the agricultural San Joaquin Valley. The regions have about 60% of the state’s population of 40 million and also have seen COVID-19 surges since the Thanksgiving holiday that have left hospitals struggling to find beds for emergency room and intensive care unit patients.

If you still live in California, you probably deserve a medal. Living under the tyrannical rule of Newsom has to hurt. He keeps on adding to his COVID rules, but the only thing the rules accomplish is to prove that lockdowns don’t work. The economy sinks while the CoronaVirus cases surge.

California has some of the nation’s strictest restrictions when it comes to COVID-19, yet it is one of America’s epicenters for the virus, Politico reported. The state has at times instituted “a complete ban on restaurant dining to travel quarantines and indoor gym closures.”

(…) To date, California has had 2.06 million known confirmed cases of coronavirus and 23,964 deaths in a population of 39.51 million. To put that in perspective, New York has had 909,000 confirmed cases and 36,739 deaths (24,889 deaths in New York City alone) in a population of 19.45 million. Florida, which has been under attack from the media for its handling of the pandemic because the state has a Republican governor who hasn’t taken unconstitutional and extreme measures to lock down the state, has seen 1.25 million confirmed cases and 20,994 deaths in a population of 21.48 million.

Do quick shutdowns work to fight the spread of Covid-19? Joe Malchow, Yinon Weiss and I wanted to find out. We set out to quantify how many deaths were caused by delayed shutdown orders on a state-by-state basis.

To normalize for an unambiguous comparison of deaths between states at the midpoint of an epidemic, we counted deaths per million population for a fixed 21-day period, measured from when the death rate first hit 1 per million—e.g.,‒three deaths in Iowa or 19 in New York state. A state’s “days to shutdown” was the time after a state crossed the 1 per million threshold until it ordered businesses shut down.

We ran a simple one-variable correlation of deaths per million and days to shutdown, which ranged from minus-10 days (some states shut down before any sign of Covid-19) to 35 days for South Dakota, one of seven states with limited or no shutdown. The correlation coefficient was 5.5%—so low that the engineers I used to employ would have summarized it as “no correlation” and moved on to find the real cause of the problem. (The trendline sloped downward—states that delayed more tended to have lower death rates—but that’s also a meaningless result due to the low correlation coefficient.)

Members of Georgia’s Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Elections and members of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday held a hearing to study Georgia’s Election Laws, and their past and present impact on the current Election cycle.
The star of the show on Wednesday was inventor Jovan Pulitzer.

Pulitzer explained how he could quickly audit their results using his technique of identifying fraudulent paper ballots and said he will do it for free.
Mr. Pulitzer said he has “no regard for the smoke and mirrors of how the machines work.” – IT’S ALL ABOUT THE PAPER BALLOTS.

“I don’t care about the machine. I don’t even care about the code that was written in the machine. What I care about is that physical artifact [ballot] and that physical artifact has material differences district to district that should not be there.”

Pulitzer said it would take him two hours to look at 500,000 ballots.

The nation’s 133-year-old law for picking a president has a provision that has never been needed to settle a disputed election, since it deals with a situation that would only happen after a cascade of seemingly improbable events.

Then again, this is 2020, a year that feels cursed with historic worsts.
And election law experts warn that Congress would be wise to clarify the provision before the country potentially faces this worst-case scenario: A full-fledged constitutional crisis if there is no clear Electoral College winner on Inauguration Day on Jan. 20.
“If you’re asking the question what should Congress do to prepare for November, that would be on the top of the list,” said Edward Foley, a constitutional law professor and director of Ohio State University’s election law program, who has written on the provision and hosted a recent online expert roundtable discussion on it.

Former Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach told Breitbart News on Tuesday that some Republican-majority state legislatures may challenge votes of electors in Congress on January 6, offering his remarks in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.
Congress is scheduled to certify the electoral college’s vote on January 6.
Kobach said, “Because the Supreme Court of the United States has not taken the big Texas case, now people are looking at January 6, when it is possible for Congress, this is when Congress accepts the votes of the electors in the electoral college. It is possible for members of Congress to raise objections, and that appears to be what some states are planning.”

For several years there has been talk about a coming American civil war. Such talk wasn’t coming from the fringes, but instead it has slowly become a mainstream talking point as far-left propaganda and fake news drives the country towards insanity.
Well, if you were looking for the exact date the civil war starts, it’s looking to be January 6th, the day that congress officially counts the Electoral College votes.
With the election still up in the air, President Donald J. Trump has called on his followers to arrive in Washington D.C. for that day. It is schedule to be a protest, but also a show of force for those in government to see that Trump still has the support of the people.

Rep. Louie Gohmert and other Republicans filed a lawsuit against Vice President Mike Pence, attempting to reverse President-elect Joe Biden’s victory over President Trump.

The suit asks Texas federal judge appointed by Trump to declare that Pence has the “exclusive authority and sole discretion” to decide which electoral votes from a given state should be counted.

Legal scholars quickly dismissed the lawsuit as hopelessly far-fetched.
Rep. Louie Gohmert became the latest Republican to file a long-shot lawsuit attempting to reverse President-elect Joe Biden’s victory — this time by suing Vice President Mike Pence.

The last-ditch legal effort, filed Sunday, came from Gohmert, an eight-term congressman from Texas, along with 11 Arizona residents who had been nominated by that state’s Republican Party to serve as electors.

It comes over a week before Pence is scheduled to preside over a joint session of Congress where the Electoral College votes for Biden and President Donald Trump will be tallied up.

Electors had already cast their votes two weeks earlier. Biden received 306 electoral votes — 36 more than he needed to win — while Trump received 232.

The suit asks federal Judge Jeremy Kernodle, a Trump appointee in eastern Texas, to declare that Pence has the “exclusive authority and sole discretion” to decide which electoral votes from a given state should be counted.

Republican Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert and a group of other GOP figures filed a lawsuit Sunday against Vice President Mike Pence. The lawsuit focuses on Pence, who will oversee the upcoming Jan. 6 meeting of Congress to count states’ electoral votes.
The case is 6:20-cv-00660 in the Eastern District of Texas, assigned to District Judge Jeremy D. Kernodle, a Trump appointee.
According to the Washington Examiner:

“Gohmert’s federal suit, which anticipates the House of Representatives’ Jan. 6 certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s Electoral College win, seeks to give Pence “exclusive authority” over which votes are deemed certifiable. In his complaint, Gohmert argues that since competing sets of electors cast votes calling the election for President Trump, Pence should have the “sole discretion” to determine the legitimacy of votes, per the 12th Amendment.
Gohmert added that in the case of a contested election, the Constitution requires that Pence send the election to the House for a decision.
“Vice-President Pence determines which slate of electors’ votes count, or neither, for that State,” Gohmert’s attorneys wrote, adding, “If no candidate has a majority of 270 elector votes, then the House of Representatives (and only the House of Representatives) shall choose the President.”
