Here author and commentator Old Labour Oxford economist Martin Summers looks at the Kiev Maidan protests and how the Ukrainian government was isolated then toppled by force of arms.
Martin compares the events in Kiev where peaceful demonstrators were shot dead by unknown gunmen to the beginning of the insurgency and echoes recent events in the Venezuelan capital Caracas. Martin suggests this is just a continuation of an old top secret NATO Intelligence operation codenamed 'Gladio' where, mainly in the 1970s and 1980s, NATO intelligence armed fascist groups throughout Europe to conduct terrorist operations against innocent civilians to drive opinion formers, politicians and public into the hands of the right, and US policy. Operation Gladio was pushed by Italy's P2 Masonic Lodge which boasted all top military and police in an anti-democratic shadow government of Italy.
Parliamentary enquiries proving and exposing Operation Gladio were carried out in Italy, Switzerland and Belgium.
