Ukraine is not going to tap into the dark side. The Central Electoral Committee of the country decided to do without jokes and dark lords at the presidential election. Candidate from Ukraine's Internet Party, Darth Vader, will not be able to run for presidency.
Despite the fact that the creator of the Death Star managed to collect all necessary signatures, documentation, and even paid two and a half million hryvnias, the election campaign under the slogan "Death to Jedis" will not happen in Ukraine. Spokespeople for the Electoral Committee said that Darth Alekseevich Vader filled out an application form incorrectly. They also said that his nomination was just a joke, which was allegedly supposed to libel the election and make the vote look like a joke in general.
However, this can not serve as a justifiable excuse. Many young people pinned their hopes on the notorious candidate. The masked man declared that it was all because of Yulia Tymoshenko. This is perhaps exactly the case when it is not clear which of the evils is worse.
