Millions of Hong Kong Protestors sing Les Mis Song as Anthem.

There will be blood spilled over this.

In the west, we take #freedom for granted. Freedom is fragile.

What's the protest about? Put simply:

1, #HongKong is entitled to operate under its own common law #capitalist system until its handover in 2047, But mainland #China are extending their influence over Hong Kong long before this deadline.

2, The spark that lit the fuse was an #extraditionbill that would allow citizens convicted in HK to be tried in mainland China. Fun fact: in 2015, 99.9 percent of those accused in China's courts were convicted.

3, HK want democratically elected leaders. To put it into perspective, The chief executive, #CarrieLam, is currently elected by a 1,200-member election committee - a mostly pro-Beijing body chosen by just six percent of eligible voters.

At the end of the day, #HK are all singing to the same tune and will soon be crying "Give me liberty, or give me death."

There will be blood.
