The instinct to survive is good. It's what kept our ancestors alive when lions were roaming around looking to eat us. Or dinosaurs, for that matter, depending on who you ask. But the ridiculous desire these people have to somehow ignore death and live forever is the survival instinct gone berserk.
It's a shamefully narcissistic, impossible dream, that some of these apes still cling to, and have the audacity to openly talk about in public.
