Brendan O'Neill has said the Government "doesn't want to go back to normal" and lift coronavirus restrictions.

Speaking to talkRADIO's Julia Hartley-Brewer, the Spiked Online editor said: "It feels like we're living in limbo at the moment. I'd prefer it if they said we're not going to open until 31st March 2024. At least we would know what was going on. This feeling of limbo is really getting people down... The Government doesn't want to go back to normal. Lots of people don't want to go back to normal.

"Some people are essentially saying we need zero Covid before we can get back to normal. I'm sorry but that's just psychotic."
