The US Ambassador Mark Lippert was attacked in the center of Seoul.
According to police, the perpetrator of the crime was caught immediately. They found 55-year-old activist of the organization "Urimadan" by the name of Kim. He cut the cheek and nerve of Ambassador on the little finger of his left hand.
Attacking, Kim shouted slogans: "No joint exercises with the United States".
Now nothing threatens to the Ambassador. Right after incident he was taken to hospital and put 80 seams on a face.
According to the explanation of the attacker, he does not like that Lippert interferes to the politics of South Korea.
This is not the first action of Kim, in 2010, he has already been sentenced to a suspended sentence for throwing chunks of concrete in the Japanese envoy in Seoul.
