On Saturday, April 4th, protesters at about a dozen locations across the nation sacrificed their Easter weekend to protest for Obama’s impeachment and removal. The protests are called the First Saturday Impeach Obama Now protests. Events took place in California, Texas, North Carolina, Oregon Alabama, Indiana, Michigan and other states. These protesters believe that Obama is a subversive and a traitor. They are not afraid to say that in public.

These protests repeat every month in cities and towns across America. The first Saturday of the month is suggested as the date, so that the events are in sync. Any like-minded group or individual can host one of these events without obtaining anyone’s permission.

At the protest in Oceanside, Ca the response was very positive. Many thanked the protesters for speaking out. However a few were not very happy. One man got out of his vehicle, commandeered the most provocative sign and drove off with it, a poster of Obama portrayed as bin Laden. Another threatened to call the police, because video of him was being taken. A third man, who said his companion was an illegal alien, threw one of our signs into oncoming traffic.

The expectation is that residents will gradually become more aware of these regular monthly protests. As the awareness and number of protesters grows, the engagement with locals will become even livelier and gain wider attention.
