Going over a post I wrote a few months ago (in May 2022)--it was a summary of a portion of a power-point presentation I made about Golem, theosophy, gnosticism, neoplatonism, utilitarianism, nano-fluidics, and much more.
Anyway, for today, I'm just reading from/talking about the part pertaining to Epicurus, Jeremy Bentham, and Utilitarianism (the idea that the best laws for society are those that benefit the largest number of people)--essentially, quantifying morality.
