Canada is rolling out hardcore Internet censorship to eradicate what it calls "hate speech" and "misinformation". This was announced at the VivaTech conference in France, where Canada and many other governments signed the 'Christchurch Call to Action'.
They intend to pass new legislation that allows Canadian citizens to be fined for things they post online, both for "hate" content and "misinformation", meaning of course that the Canadian government is going to create a literal Ministry of Truth.
