Michelle Carter - released early after a typical light sentence for a female , if they even get sentenced at all . Our Criminal Justice system and society trivializes the lives of men and their families' suffering . Will feminists ever demand equal jail-time for equal offenses ? Never ! Men are sentenced on average 65 percent higher for the same offense . Women usually get sweet deals that let them off entirely or very lightly. This devalues the lives of the others they prey upon. Is this what the left calls "equity" ?
