The Chicano movement, also called La Raza, is an ultra nationalist movement that claims the southwestern U.S. as their national homeland to ultimately be united with Mexico. The goal of the Chicano movement is to get political control of the Southwest. For this reason they do not recognize our immigration laws at all and support unlimited illegal immigration.
This radical group is marching on the Trump rally from Chicano Park, an extremely anti-American park under the Coronado Bridge, funded by the City of San Diego with our tax dollars and also supported by various state and federal agencies.
Four or five different groups organized protests against the Trump Rally in San Diego, besides Chicanos, including Democrats, Bernie Sanders supporters, Service Employees International Union (a red union) and left-leaning anarchists.
