... they hope to make the anti Muslim hate crime resolution a bill and bills can become the law of the land. We saw happen in Canada with M-103 resolution becoming law very quickly after resolution was passed. This would make Islam and Muslims a "protected minority group" to which any animus shown to it is punishable by fine and imprisonment. This SR 118 & HR 257 are the beginning to the biggest threat to our Bill of Rights and US Constitution since the founding of the Republic and have been passed in the late hours of the night right under the nose of the American people. But we here at InspoNews are all over this breaking story. Senator Rubio and Ryan are in fact NWO agents for a trans-nationalist Vatican, EU & Pope Francis who are determined to not have their intensive Muslim migration policies stopped by the likes of the strong American nationalist President Donald J. Trump and via Rubio and Ryan are executing an end run around the President to under the radar destroy free speech and give rise to a new police state that can via a new inter- agency hate crime task force- determine what is hate speech- what is animus or "hateful" viewpoints or not toward Muslims. There are two bi-partisan resolutions in Congress, House Resolution 257 and Senate Resolution 118, which mean to trigger a law enforcement “investigation” if you are deemed to “hate” Muslims which now seems to imply speech or criticism of whatever an inter-agency law enforcement task force (DOJ, FBI, CIA etc.)
Who is the Federal government to act as "thought police"for the rest of us who have a right to despise the 110 violent texts of the Koran and the intolerant suras of the Hadith and Sunna. It use to be a hate crime to engage in acts of violence against a minority to which I agree - but SPEECH IS NOT THE SAME AS BEHAVIOR and for the first time since the inception of our Republic - free speech - the right to criticize if passionately - is now under siege. This a brazen, treasonous, globalist attempt to destroy our Republic and the bedrock of freedom of speech- the most cherished liberty we enjoy in our free land. The Muslims will have free speech though - CHRISTIANS ARE NOT PROTECTED OR COVERED IN THIS BILL! Sinister because now the Muslims can build all the Mosques they desire, criticize Jesus as the prophet who will kill Christians when he returns and other blasphemies - but if we speak against that we can go to a FEMA CAMP. The Muslims definitely now will have the upper hand as a preferred class of protected people(silly since they are not a minority but an pernicious ideology) and can evangelize Americans but we will not be able to evangelize them or correct or criticize their moral errors and felonious texts for fear they could report us as hateful bigots and put us in prison etc.
(1) Although HR 257 (and SR 118, which is already unanimously approved by the Senate) says “Condemning hate crime and any other form of racism, religious or ethnic bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus targeting a minority in the United States,” only Muslims and Jews are mentioned as “religious” targets, and blacks or African-Americans as the “racial” targets. No mention of Christians or whites as being even potential targets of religious or racial “bias, discrimination, incitement to violence, or animus”.
(2) The vagueness and ambiguity of important words, such as “hate crime”, “incitement to violence”, “bias”, “threats”, and especially “animus”. The Cambridge English Dictionary defines “animus” as “a feeling of hate or anger towards someone or something”. A feeling is an in-dwelling emotion, in contrast to “hate crime” and “incitement to violence”, which are outward behaviors of speech and/or action. That means HR 257 and SR 118 seek to make feelings (of hate or anger toward Muslims, Jews, or blacks) into thought crimes.
Then there is the important matter of how “animus” — having a feeling of hate or anger — is detected and determined. Is simply criticizing Muslims, Jews, or blacks “animus”?
