A rare recording of the German soldier song "Ein Schifflein sah ich fahren" from the 19th century. It contains stanzas which are not often sung in other recordings and the lyrics in this recording are basically exclusive because of the changes that were made, especially when it comes to the mentioning of the city Harburg in Bavaria which is not mentioned in original texts. Also the melody was modified.
