Another viewer request! WhiteBoard Style discussion on the use of pepcid, or famotidine, in the treatment of SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19. We discuss the proposed mechanism behind this therapy as demonstrated in a computational study. We then dive into a pre-published retrospective cohort study, propensity matched, that demonstrated decreased mortality and decreased need for intubation in those who received famotidine within 24 hours of their admission.
