Video depicts a “campus employee” at San Francisco State University harassing and physically assaulting two different students. Yeah so apparently some people don’t understand that dreadlocks have been a thing for literally thousands of years, appear in many cultures from all over the world (including several European countries), and pre-date Rastafarianism by…you know…quite a bit. And that wearing dreadlocks is not “cultural appropriation” because you can’t appropriate your own culture, guys. The significance of locks varies wildly from culture to culture from deep religious significance to a fashion statement .
