We begin this episode by talking about Trump's recent last minute decision to call off a planned bombing of Iran, and the many different reactions within the alternative media which seemed designed to sow confusion among people. Jeremy then takes a few minutes to discuss reports of various global Goldman Sachs branches receiving warnings prior to the 9/11 attacks and the possible implications of that. We then talk about Tucker Carlson, including his strange bedfellows relationship with elements of the anti imperialist left as demonstrated by last year's ANTIFA protests which took place outside his home, his 2012 call on Fox News that "Iran should be annihilated," and the efforts of Alex Jones to help him re-brand as a populist Libertarian after making his name as a pro-war Neocon. We then discuss his father, Richard Carlson, and his career which includes a stint as the head of Voice of America and the U.S. Information Agency during a key period at the end of the Cold War, his eight year stint as a vice chairman of the Foundation For the Defense of Democracies, and his relationship with Oliver "Buck Revell, a long time FBI veteran who is currently on the board of advisers of JINSA. We talk about how all of this should be taken into consideration when thinking about Tucker, the role he may currently be playing in shaping discourse, and how all of this history might help shed some light on Tucker's past statements as well as some aspects of his current rhetoric.
