The crew of the Admiral Grigorovich frigate successfully conducted anti-aircraft missile firing exercises.
The exercises were conducted in the Black Sea water area in accordance with the combat training plan of the Black Sea Fleet.
The missile firing was carried out in several stages, during which more than ten missile launches were conducted both from the board of the ship and from Utyos and Bal coastal complexes.
The main armament of the ship are eight vertical launch cells for Caliber or Onyx cruise missiles, which can be used against ground targets or ships. This is complemented by a 100 mm Arsenal naval gun. The air defense suite is represented by 24 3S90M Buk vertical launch cells, as well as two AK-630 close-in weapon systems and eight Igla-S or Verba air-defense missile systems.
